Javelinas
Our infant care program offers a nurturing and secure environment with lots of love and attention. It is designed to provide babies with a variety of skills to build confidence for further discovery, and encourage curiosity and exploration. The core goal of our infant care program is to provide your baby with love, care and an environment that encourages the development of natural curiosity. We view parents as our partners, and believe that by working together, your child will have a more productive and satisfying early childhood experience.

Your toddler is making great developmental strides — and we’re here to help! We channel your child’s increasing energy and curiosity into fun learning activities and playtime. Our toddler program is based upon building and sustaining warm, trusting and responsive relationships between the children and the adults who care for them. This helps toddlers form a strong, positive sense of identity. At this age, children love to explore the world around them, and learn their place in it.

We are the select few to offer Early Pre-K. Our NM FOCUS® Early Prek offers opportunities to develop a love of learning! Children are given more freedom to explore based on their interests as they are engaged in the classroom learning centers. Learning centers give your preschool child the opportunity to learn to share and play with others, build independence and confidence, and acquire the skills needed for kindergarten. Learning emerges through frequent exposure to concepts, interactions, purposeful play, and new experiences. Utilizing the Teaching Strategies curriculum, our teachers complete daily observations and authentic assessment to guide lesson plans and activities while ensuring that each child is meeting developmentally appropriate skills.

A child’s preschool learning experience can shape his or her academic career. We recognize the need for a strong foundation in academics and physical, social, and emotional development. Our goal at New Mexico Children First Learning Center is to work in partnership with parents to set children on the path to a life-long love of learning.
